Your heart will melt instantly when you see the love Erin and John Aaron share with their daughter, Evlyn Mae. It is the beautiful center of this wedding day story and you can see how everyone in attendance is overjoyed to celebrate such a sweet family. The genuine happy tears during their vows and the giggly excitement during their couples footage will have you smiling from ear to ear. Erin and John Aaron’s first dance was set to Justin Timberlake’s Mirrors but then the record skipped and suddenly the whole wedding party was jammin’ to Tat It Up by DL4 and this set the tone for the whole evening. The smiles were big, the dance moves were legendary and what lives on is the happy ever after of a loving family.

Head over to A.J. Dunlap’s blog to see her beautiful images from their day.

Amrita & Alex: Patrick Henry Ballroom

The most beautiful part about a wedding is that two people are bringing their traditions together and creating a family. UK based Amrita and Alex celebrated this union of tradition by having a Hindu ceremony and an English ceremony, all in one memorable day. Amrita, an architect and Alex, a pilot, put a lot of work and heart into the early stages of their relationship (long distance is hard!) and built a solid foundation. While Amrita was in the US and Alex in the UK, they would have Skype dates called “Dunches” (dinner for him and lunch for her) and, as Alex’s best man lovingly described, would cook the same exact meal to feel more connected on cyber dates. If your still squealing about how adorable that is, check out the film and see their friends and families embrace each other’s cultures and make that joyful, colorful, wonderful day, really special for Amrita and Alex.

Bianca & Andrew: The Umstead

One of the most beautiful things about Bianca & Andrew’s wedding is that it was, not only a chance to celebrate the love they have for each other but, also an opportunity for their friends and family to show their love and support for the couple’s journey ahead. Their guests traveled from all over the world to be with them on their special day and the celebrations began with a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony. It was all a fairytale from there, as Bianca donned a princess gown, met her prince down the isle, and danced the night away with the people that love them the most.

“Jordan and Kristin, your hearts have been set on each other for years now… Kristin we remember the journal that you kept, and 8 years ago today in your middle school journal, writing down a prayer that if it be the Lord’s will that Jordan would be your husband.” Kristin and Jordan’s story is steady, romantic and intricately ordained. A middle-school friendship turned romance. And years of hoping, praying and waiting which all led to this magical spring ceremony under the vibrant oak trees at Rose Hill Plantation.

Katie & Parker: The Carolina Inn

“Where else would a girl from Boston, and a boy from South Carolina, who met while going to school in New York and Connecticut, before they start their lives in Texas, have their wedding? Chapel Hill North Carolina…couldn’t think of a more perfect place.” Katie’s dad said it best. The Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill was the perfect place for Katie and Parker’s elegant wedding. After exchanging meaningful gifts during their blind look, Katie and Parker said their “I do’s” under a Carolina blue sky amidst beloved family and friends. Their friends toasted to their luck, but also spoke of their kindness and grace as defining characteristics and what makes them perfect for each other. The night ended with some killer dance moves (one of Katie’s brothers split his pants while trying to bust a move) and a romantic sparkler exit!

Sarah & Travis: Downtown Raleigh

Sarah and Travis’s love story is the kind you see in movies. Their connection was so genuine and real that, to quote the maid of honor, “on their third date, Sarah said ‘I love you’ and Travis replied, ‘I’m going to marry you'”. Swoon! Sarah and Travis’s downtown Raleigh wedding was also a ceremony of a family coming together. Travis’s daughter, Avery, was grinning from ear to ear as she tried on Sarah’s heels, tossed rose petals down the isle, and spun like a princess during the reception. Also, an urban-chic downtown wedding would not be complete without the Raleigh Trolley!

Morgan & Ryan: Carolina Country Club

“Morgan and Ryan… you have set a high bar for your friends, and for your families, of what a true loving relationship looks like”. Truer words could not have been spoken during Morgan and Ryan’s Christ-centered ceremony. And each toast given at the reception further attested to their unconditional love and devotion to eachother (as well as their family and friends). I can’t even listen to the Morgan’s dad give his toast without getting choked up! Our favorite moments from the day included: Morgan’s first look with her dad, and Morgan and Ryan’s first dance (the way they lock eyes everytime they dance will melt your heart). We especially love how their personalities were incorporated throughout the entire day (like when Ryan rocked out the reception on a guitar Morgan surprised him with that weekend).

Head over to Robyn Van Dyke’s blog to see her lovely images from the day!
