Sovia & Jon’s Wedding Day was held at the beautiful Umstead Hotel in Cary, NC. I am not sure if this day could have been any more perfect! It was truely our pleasure to be able to film such an awesome couple. We had the privilege of working along side a wonderful team of wedding pro’s including Christobal Perez from Azul Photography. The reading of “Sharing A Coke With You” which was written by Mikki for Hector, was just one of the many amazing touches that made their wedding day so incredibly special. Mikki was definitely one, if not the most laid back brides I have ever had the pleasure of filming. Both Mikki and Hector’s love for each other was clearly evident during the reading of their own hand-written vows. The Ceremony and Reception was held at the historic Preston Woodall House located in Benson, NC which fit this couple to a “T”! We had the pleasure of working alongside some great vendors including J and J Photography and DJ Richie! Congratulations Mikki & Hector! Awesome couple, Awesome families, and an Awesome wedding day for Melissa and Philip! The ceremony was held at Duke University Chapel and the reception at Croasdaile Country Club in Durham NC. It was truly a privilege to get to know Melissa and Philip and film their day!

Tucked away in Chapel Hill NC, the Aqueduct Conference Center provided a beautiful backdrop for Kelli & Mike’s wedding day. Although a bit windy, the beautiful weather created the perfect setting for this outdoor wedding. The post-ceremony photo/video shoot was one I will never forget! Let’s just say the hill in this fillm was MUCH BIGGER than it looks! Kelli & Mike’s entire day was surrounded by their closest family and friends and truly had that intimate feel. DJ Billy Britt rocked the reception on the covered deck and Eddie Stokes took some phenomenal images throughout the entire day. Thank you Kelli & Mike for letting us be a part of and capture your special day!

Jaime & Lee’s wedding took place at the beautiful Fearrington Village in Pittsboro…. definitely one of our favorite places to film weddings in North Carolina! It was a cool, overcast day but this group did not seem to care. They certainly made sure they had all of the ingredients to make it an unforgettable time despite the weather! It was a pleasure to work with Photographer Renee Sprink who captured the still images of the day and we had such a blast at the reception where Chapel Hill’s own Liquid Pleasure rocked the Fearrington Barn. Jaime forewarned me about being prepared to experience my first Jewish wedding and, wow, I will never forget it…..such an awesome time! Thank you Jaime and Lee for allowing us to capture your day!

Filming weddings for such great people like Andrea, Joe and their families is why I enjoy what I do so much! I did not realize until after they booked us that Andrea was a fellow Appalachian State Alumni as was her amazing photographer, Stacia Harrington (side note: you gotta check out Stacia’s images from the day…including the shots she provided for their DVD Cover….absolutely amazing!). Everything was a perfect match! The setting for the day was in Sanford, NC with the Ceremony held at Morris Chapel United Methodist Church which is perfectly situated down a quiet country road. The Reception took place at the Carolina Trace Country Club with the fabulous DJ Randy Pulley providing the entertainment for the evenings festivities including the Cocktail Hour held outside in the Courtyard overlooking the lake. One of the many highlights of the evening was the bridal party intro’s which was was capped off with the bride “pushing” away the groom before coming back together for their first dance. The beautiful flowers were provided by Bonnie Cocke and Kiss-Me-Cakes came through at the last minute with the beautiful and super yellow Wedding Cake! The entire day was perfect from the weather, to the “supermoon”, to the sparkler exit on a golf cart with a sign on the back that read “Just Maui’d”. Congratulations Andrea & Joe!….it was truly a pleasure to film your day!
