First, I cannot believe that I am already writing our year in review for 2012! It feels like it should still be summertime! With a record number of amazing weddings (49 to be exact), this year has simply flown by! Our fantastic team of Aleksandra and Somerled filmed 12 of those weddings and already have several booked for 2013. For those of you who do not know, back in April we moved into our own office at Midtown Place along with some other great wedding professionals. If you are ever in the area, please stop by and say hello!

With all the weddings we captured, we had the pleasure of meeting some awesome couples and making some great friends along the way. There have been plenty of “firsts” as well. Sarah and Jason started our year off with the opportunity to film their Elopement. In April we filmed our first wedding at Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC and then quickly followed it up with our 2nd trip to the Estate in October!  There was certainly no shortage of beautiful triangle area venues, including: The Angus Barn Pavilions, Barclay Villa, Bay 7, Brier Creek Country Club, Carolina Country Club, Carolina Inn, Duke Gardens, Fearrington Village, Governors Club, Highgrove, Prestonwood Country Club, The Renaissance Hotel, Rose Hill Conference Center, The Stockroom, The Sutherland and many more! Needless-to-say, we have our hands full with editing which leads me to the pleasure of introducing Anna Foushee! Anna has joined Twenty-One Films on a full time basis as our Studio Manager and Assistant Editor. She definitely has a natural talent for storytelling and creativity which is evident in her first edit of Julia & Ryan as well as the redesign of our beautiful website.

It will definitely be hard to top our experiences in 2012, but 2013 is already shaping up to be a blast! We have some really cool projects on the horizon which we are definitely looking forward to sharing! Finally, we want to give a HUGE “Thank You” to all of our bride’s and groom’s for putting your faith in us to capture your special day. Without you, we would not be able to do what we love to do. Sincerely….Thank You!  -Phil
