Amrita & Alex: Patrick Henry Ballroom
The most beautiful part about a wedding is that two people are bringing their traditions together and creating a family. UK based Amrita and Alex celebrated this union of tradition by having a Hindu ceremony and an English ceremony, all in one memorable day. Amrita, an architect and Alex, a pilot, put a lot of work and heart into the early stages of their relationship (long distance is hard!) and built a solid foundation. While Amrita was in the US and Alex in the UK, they would have Skype dates called “Dunches” (dinner for him and lunch for her) and, as Alex’s best man lovingly described, would cook the same exact meal to feel more connected on cyber dates.
