First and foremost, I want to thank each and every bride and groom that we filmed this year for the opportunity to play such an important role in capturing your Wedding Day! We could not have had such an amazing year without you and it was an absolute pleasure to get to know you all!

Banner Year: 2011 simply exploded as we expanded the number of weddings we filmed from 18 in 2010 to a whopping 34 this year! With that jump came some unexpected hurdles and I am happy to say that we have learned a lot from them and are positioning ourselves to film even more weddings and events in 2012. I want to thank my entire team for everything you have done and the hard work that you have put in to help make Twenty-One Films what it is today. Jess, Bill, Somerled, and Aleksandra…..you all are awesome at what you do and I cannot thank you enough! It was also a pleasure to work alongside some incredible vendors in the wedding industry as well. There are simply too many to name but I want you all to know that it was a privilege to work with you….some multiple times!

From the Mountains to the Coast: We absolutely love to travel and this year was perfect for it! We were lucky enough to be able to film weddings from the Asheville mountains, to Greensboro, Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Sanford, New Bern, Figure Eight Island in Wilmington, as well as down in good ‘ol South Carolina…just to name a few! There was no shortage of amazing venues including Cobblestone Hall, The Cotton Room, The Grand Marquise Ballroom, The Umstead Hotel, The Pavilions at the Angus Barn, The Governors Club, Carolina Trace Country Club, Cardinal Club, Brier Creek Country Club, Greensboro Country Club, New Bern Golf & Country Club, Figure Eight Island Yacht Club, The Proximity Hotel, Fearrington Village, Rock of Ages Winery, The Carolina Inn, Sisters Garden, Preston Woodall House…..the list goes on and on! We were able to film in some amazing churches as well including Duke Chapel, Sacred Heart, Bascillica of St. Lawrence, Edenton Street UMC, University Baptist Church, St. Francis of Assisi, Church of the Good Shepherd, Hillyer Memorial Christian Church, Holy Trinity Episcopal Church…..and again the list goes on and on.

Looking forward to 2012: It will definitely be hard to top 2011 but 2012 is already off to a fantastic start! We have some awesome additions that we will be unveiling as the year goes along that will take us to another level so definitely stay tuned for those! We already have some of our favorite venues on the schedule as well as some exciting new places as well. Until then, we will be editing our hearts out and enjoying the Holiday season with our families and I hope every one of you do as well.

Thank you all again and Merry Christmas!!!
